AMMAN (Petra) - Residents of Amman, Zarqa, Madaba and Balqa will be able to pay their electricity bills at Jordan Post Company (JPC) offices without having to pay any extra charges as of next month. The measure seeks to make it easier for people to pay their electricity bills at the nearest post office, JPC Director General Ahmad Ali Obeidat said. Under an agreement signed between the Post Company and the Electricity Company, the latter agreed to cover collection charges, Obeidat said. Within the next few days, the electricity company will close 20 bill-collecting offices that are located near the post offices, to ensure the success of the new step, Obeidat added.
Medical conference opens on Tuesday
